Upgrade options slightly differ between the models, which we’ll cover in more detail below. In addition to this, you have the option to add branding and other custom requests to really make your pit your own.
As each smoker is made to order by Leviathan Pits here in the UK, you have the freedom to tailor various aspects, resulting in a one-of-a-kind pit that’s built to suit your needs.
Leviathan Pits Upgrades
Element
For those who refuse to settle for less, Element puts you in pro territory from day one of your smoking journey. The standard model is everything you’d expect from this no-compromise brand, with heavy gauge steel and hardware components, foldable chimney to boost airflow, and further airflow optimisations that reduce hotspots, increase airflow distribution and increases airflow velocity.
Element Upgrades
1. Customisable Firebox
Standard Model: sealed firebox for consistent, reliable heat control.
Upgrade 1: openable top lid with plancha and grill grates to maximise cooking surface area. This live-fire cooking area is perfect for reverse searing or cooking smash burgers, offering additional flexibility and space.
Upgrade 2: a semi-insulated firebox insert for increased fuel efficiency and heat retention.
2. Cooking Grates
Standard Model: 304 stainless steel, laser-cut 6mm thick carbon steel cooking grates included as standard. The grates have been engineered to overcome the issues of rusting, warping and sagging experienced with the mesh grates found in most offset smokers on the market.
Upgrade: 304 stainless steel, heavy duty 10mm round bar grates. The increased thickness and round bar design offer even greater longevity for a lifetime of heavy use - no matter what you throw at them.
3. Wheel Options
Standard Model: industrial-grade 200mm braked cast iron and polyurethane castors. Rated to 1800kg, these heavy-duty castors make movement on uneven surfaces far easier than the smaller wheels found on other pits.
Upgrade: Off-road chassis with ATV wheels, designed to make mobility on even more challenging, rugged terrain smooth and easy.

Fractal 90
Fractal 90 is designed to deliver results like no other in it’s class. A true work of exceptional design engineering, these pits are fabricated using 8mm and 10mm stainless steel, with extra heavy-duty 10mm stainless steel grates as standard, ceramic fibre insulation, and advanced ‘Dual Flow’ airflow system that’s unlike anything else on the market in the UK.
Fractal 90 also comes with optional upgrades to customise to suit your cooking needs.
1. Firebox additions
Standard Model: two inches of ceramic fibre is sandwiched between 8mm steel layers, resulting in less wood being consumed for exceptional fuel efficiency. Wood splits burn with minimum smouldering for the cleanest burn and flavour.
Upgrade 1: Firebox searing grate for additional cooking space and live fire cooking.
Upgrade 2: Materia fire management basket, designed to make fire management easier and also extend the life of the firebox.
2. Cooking Grates
Similar to the Element model, you can upgrade to thicker round bar design grates for heavy-duty cooking performance that wont degrade over time.

3. Wheel Options
Standard Model: features four ultra-heavy-duty 200mm castors with cast iron cores and a hard-wearing polyurethane tread, rated to withstand a combined load of 1800kg. The two front swivel castors have locking brakes, while the rear two are fixed to the chassis for stability.
Upgrade: An off-road chassis with high spec ATV wheels option also available for the Fractal 90, ideal for movement over rugged terrain.

Each standard model features a heavy-duty fixed storage shelf underneath the cooking chamber. Optional accessories include:
