We find the customer, design the wall and get the fire and furniture to the door. You build it, and you're paid when the job is complete.

The work
Two kinds of job
Most of our installs are one of these. Take on one or both.
Plastered media wall
- Frame the wall in 3x2 timber
- Build the TV recess and the opening for the fire
- Fit the fire, board and plaster
- LED profile lights or downlights where the customer wants them
Typically £1,200 to £2,500 for the job
Furniture fit
- Our floating cabinets and TV panels, made in our workshop and delivered to site
- Fix level to the wall, fit the fire into the cabinet
- Tidy cable runs and a clean finish

How much do you pay?
Between £1,200 and £2,500 per job depending on the size of the project. We tell you the price for each job before you accept it.
When do I get paid?
When the job is complete and the customer has signed it off.
Who supplies the materials?
The fire, cabinets and TV panels come from us, delivered to site. Timber, board and plaster are arranged with you per job and confirmed before you start.
Where do you need installers?
Across England, Scotland and Wales. We match jobs to your postcode and how far you're willing to travel.
What do I need?
Experience building media walls or similar carpentry, public liability insurance, your own tools and transport, and a tidy finish. Electrical work must be done by a qualified electrician, so tell us if you have one on your team.
Am I employed by Fire & Frost?
No. You work as a self-employed subcontractor and take the jobs you want.
Do I deal with the customer?
We agree the design and price with the customer. On site, you'll talk to them about access and timings like any job, and we're on the phone if anything comes up.
