Econovex panoramic fires come in two depths: deep models that need a 300 mm deep opening, and slimline models that fit a 179 mm deep opening. Both have 3-sided glass and the same flame and colour controls. The difference is how much depth your wall has, how tall the flame picture is, and how much heat you want.

Choose deep if…
- You're building a new stud media wall and can give it 300 mm of depth
- You want the taller 560 mm flame picture and a bigger presence in the room
- The fire will be a real source of heat, not just atmosphere: the 3kW heater puts out twice the heat of a 1.5kW heater
See the 1270, 1600, 1800 and 2000.
Choose slimline if…
- Your wall or chimney breast can't take 300 mm of depth
- You're fitting into an existing recess or a shallow false wall
- You mainly want the flame effect, with gentle top-up heat
See the Slimline 1500 and Slimline 1800.
What stays the same
Both ranges have glass on the front and both ends, can be fitted as a 3-sided bay, 2-sided corner or front-only, and give you the same remote control of flame, ambient and ember bed colours, crackle sound and a 1 to 9 hour timer. Both come with a 5-year guarantee: 1 year on-site, plus up to 4 more years on parts.
