WhatsApp usCall 01274 985738The Econovex 1600 is a deep, 3-sided panoramic electric fire built to be the centrepiece of a plastered media wall or chimney breast. Glass on the front and both ends shows the flames from across the room, and once built in only a slim heat vent sits above the glass.
Dimensions
| Width | Height | Depth | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Recess opening | 1600 mm | 560 mm | 300 mm |
| Overall | 1626 mm | 570 mm | 311 mm |
Build the opening to the recess size. Pairs best with a 55" to 65" TV, so the fire runs slightly wider than the screen.
Heat and running costs
The 3kW PTC heater has two settings: low (1.5kW, 5,118 BTU) and high (3kW, 10,236 BTU). Like all electric heaters, it turns all the electricity it uses into heat in the room, with nothing lost up a chimney. The heater works alongside the flame effect.
Costs on full output at 26.32p per kWh, the Ofgem price cap rate for 1 October to 31 December 2026. Your own tariff may differ.
